Growing Smiles, One Child at a Time

As a pediatric dentist, my greatest passion is the journey I take with each patient. I love meeting children, learning about their lives and dreams, and being part of their life as they grow into young adults. I want each child to know he or she is important to me, and that they will always be listened to, supported, and encouraged to do their best, whether in school or in caring for their smiles.

Dental caries — more often called cavities or tooth decay — is the most common chronic yet preventable disease of childhood. I fight this disease for each of my patients, through preventive care to protect their teeth and age-appropriate education. I know that teaching a child why it’s important to take care of their mouth, giving them the tools and showing them how to keep their teeth and gums clean, and encouraging them to develop good habits, makes a difference. I want each patient to have a lifetime of vibrant, health-filled smiles!

Dentistry is in my blood, and I’ve had a passion for it since childhood. As a young child, I thought that going to my father’s orthodontic practice on Long Island was like going to the toy store; I used to play with typodonts (models of teeth, gums, and palate), change the colorful elastics on orthodontic models, and bend wires. That fascination with oral healthcare has been a constant in my life and I’m thrilled to share it with each patient and the parents.

Our Practice and Team

Our practice is growing and changing! We are updating many aspects of the office to ensure we’re caring for patients with advanced technologies and delivering the safest procedures.

Each of our team members is energetic and empathetic. They can make the tensest patient relax and feel safe. Even the most worried patient will often be laughing with us by the end of a visit! We’re honored to provide a dental home to our patients, and to offer comprehensive, compassionate, and individual care to every child.

Helping Others

Since attending a Quaker high school, being involved in the community has been an integral part of my life.  I volunteer at the Arizona University School of Dentistry & Oral Health for Give Kids a Smile. This program provides free restorative, preventive, and surgical dental care to more than 300 children! I also participate annually in the Special Smiles at the Special Olympics. This program offers free dental screening to the athletes.

Beyond the Office

My husband, Nick, and I live in Brighton. This March, we were blessed to welcome our first child, Cole, into the world.  He truly is a bundle of joy and I love spending time with him when I am away from the office. We also have a fur baby, Brady. He is a nine year old Cavapoo and likes to play fetch, go on walks, and romp in the snow.

Outside of the office, I enjoy skiing, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with my wonderful friends and family.
