We recognize that all our young patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your child to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I have been in the dental field for over 25 years and have been working with children for my entire career. My goal is to build a positive relationship with each child, while encouraging good brushing habits and educating them about healthy nutritional choices. Not only do I enjoy giving kids sparkling smiles each time they come to our office but also I enjoy watching them grow and mature throughout the years. My daily duties include cleaning teeth, applying fluoride, placing sealants, taking radiographs, taking intraoral photos, and educating parents and children about their oral health.
My husband Ron and I have a large, blended family that includes eight children and several grandchildren. In my free time I love to attend my children's soccer games, traveling, remodeling my home, and playing with my pugs.
I have been in the dental field for over 40 years and have been working in pediatric dentistry for over 20 years. I love being around children, adolescents, and young adults. We have a wonderful, family-oriented practice, and Dr. Jackie and our team members are attentive and respectful of each patient’s needs. Each patient and their family are important to me, and I’m glad to help them develop their healthiest smiles! I take radiographs, clean my patients’ teeth, and teach each patient and their parents about oral health.
I’m an AHA CPR and first aid instructor and was an EMT for 15 years. I also volunteer with Victor/Farmington Food Cupboard and am a Serenity House caregiver (hospice). When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family, including my spouse, three children, seven grandchildren, and my dog, taking jazzercise classes, and working in my yard.
Front Desk Coordinator
I went to Nazareth College and graduated cum laude with a dual degree in English and history. Medieval history is my favorite subject! I am here to greet patients and their parents, scan paperwork, enter demographic information, answer phones, and process payments. I feel so fortunate to get to know our wonderful patients on a personal level in order to make their dental experience unique. Being a part of this team has been a great experience so far. Everyone is enthusiastic about making sure the patients have the best care possible, and leave happy.
I live with my fiancé and our yellow Labrador retriever. I love to read, write, sing, listen to rock music, decorate, and walk down by Canandaigua Lake.
My job involves keeping patients calm and comfortable, while assisting Dr. W with dental procedures. On a day to day basis, you can find me accompanying the children to their chairs, passing instruments to Dr. W, organizing the office, and sprucing up the office. I work hard to create a fun and exciting dental home for our patients; you can often find me joking with the kids or telling them stories.
My husband, Tony, and I have two children- Arianna and Logan. I love animals, so we have many pets including two huskies (Elsa and Sky), a yorkie (Ralph), and a cat (Mr. Peppersworth). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, baking (and eating everything that I bake), doing crafts, and watching movies.
Financial Coordinator & Dental Assistant
As the daughter of a dentist, I have grown up in a dental office. I first assisted my dad with an emergency patient when I was seven years old. Now over 20 years later, I am a self-proclaimed dental geek, and I hope to one day be a dentist myself. In the meantime I am here helping our patient’s families navigate the difficult and unruly world of insurances and treatment plans. This practice is truly a unique place, with an amazing staff and a doctor who perform miracles, big and small, with our patients on a daily basis. Easily one of my all-time favorite practices to work in.
When I am not working for Dr. Wingate, you may find me assisting my father at his dental practice, working on a horse farm, preparing for dental school, or enjoying some rare downtime with my boyfriend, his two daughters, our son, and our dog Freddy.
